Yard notes

A clipboard pack has to survive the copier beside the kettle

Wall boards earn their keep in the transport office. The person who walks the apron still needs four sheets that fit a clipboard: yesterday’s running, today’s VOR, inspection due, spare cover.

I set those sheets to the printer that is actually in the office. Margins that look generous on a large screen will clip on an old copier. Tom Ellis in Somerset sent a photograph of the first pad; we reset the margin the same week. That is ordinary print work, not a new product.

If your copier only likes A4, say so before we draw the pack. A plotter-size board and a pocket pad are different jobs. Mixing them in one PDF is how night staff stop updating anything.
